Welcome to Notes by me, Alex. A collection of thoughts, ideas, and learnings on the things I find most interesting - marketing, branding, psychology, and business.

When I first started writing these Notes, they were just for me. I spend a lot of time reading, listening, and thinking about these topics, and making notes helped me make sense of them. But the more I wrote, the more I thought, maybe someone else might find them useful too. So here we are.

A bit actually about me: my career didn’t start in marketing. It started in finance. At the time, I’ll be honest, I thought those years were wasted. However, looking back they gave me something valuable: a solid understanding of how businesses actually work. Still, it didn’t take long to realise finance wasn’t where I wanted to stay. Eventually, I found my way into marketing and branding, drawn in by human psychology and business growth. That’s where I realised good marketing isn’t about shouting the loudest, but about understanding people better, telling real stories, and building brands that people genuinely want to be part of.

When I’m not working, I love to travel. For me, it’s the best way to gain perspective, find fresh ideas, and get a renewed sense of motivation. The images you'll see on these Notes are all photos I’ve taken on my own travels. I think they’re a nice way to add a personal touch and give you a glimpse into a part of my life that keeps me interested in the work I do every day.
